Botox® is
a relatively simple non-surgical treatment for treating age-related wrinkles. It has been used for over 20 years, and its safety is well-established.

How Botox® Works
Botox® Cosmetic is a neuromuscular inhibitor. It causes the muscles that create creases and tension lines in the face to relax, making you appear more relaxed and rested. It takes about three to five days to take effect for most people, though for some it may be as long as two weeks before the results show. The effects last for three to four months, though some may see the effects lasting as long as six months. When it wears off, you can have a repeat treatment.
Botox® is so popular because it is a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. It is simple, quick, and inexpensive.
Dermal Fillers
Dr. Hylan is also certified to administer the dermal fillers Restylane and Juvederm.
